Service Description
The Fire Tower Photo Shoot is an experience that takes small groups into the most rural and private mountains in San Diego county. Become energized in pristine nature paired with a professional photoshoot on San Diego’s highest peak, Hot Springs Mountain. The Los Coyotes Reservation hosts the highest point in San Diego County, Hot Springs Mountain. The peak has an elevation of 6535 feet with views of the Pacific Ocean and Salton Sea. Other notable sights include San Diego city buildings, Catalina Island, surrounding peaks, coniferous forest, wildlife and winter snow. Los Coyotes is a 1 hour drive East from Poway, Escondido, and Temecula. It is 1 hour and 30 minutes from the City of San Diego. Andrew Pittman, a Tribal member of the Los Coyotes Band of Cahuilla & Cupeno Indians, will take private groups on a truck drive to the peak. Guests will spend time at the old Fire Look Out Tower and peak. We will then spend time in the coniferous forest for a 1-hour photoshoot. After our shoot we will serve lunch and rest before descent. The trip will take 5 hours. You can choose a sunrise or sunset option. Currently, we can only accommodate groups of 4. We plan to grow and offer more seats in the future. Each session will receive 25 photos which will be delivered via digital download. Print options are available for additional fees. Los Coyotes is subject to a variety of inclement weather and your photo session may be cancelled for your safety. We monitor the conditions and try to notify as soon as possible. Your experience will be rescheduled at your next convenience.
